Amadys, supplier of components for utility networks (including water, gas, electricity and telecommunications networks) has acquired tso GmbH, distributor of splicing and measurement equipment for fibre optic networks. This acquisition represents an important milestone in Amadys’ growth strategy and is a logical next step in the buy-and-build success story of Amadys and the expansion of its growth platform in all utility sectors and industries in the Benelux and beyond, with a strong focus on the massive growing Fiber to the Home (FTTH) market. tso’s founder, Arthur Graevendiek, will re-invest in the Amadys Group and remain as CEO to support the expansion drive on the German market.

The transaction is subject to approval by the competition authorities. The acquisition of Infraconcepts fits with the international growth ambition of the Amadys group and will strengthen its position in the Netherlands.
Amadys has been nominated for the 2020 BVA Award Buy-out company of the year. The third edition of the BVA Private Equity & Venture Capital Award ceremony is due to take place virtually on the 29th of October 2020.
